Download Decree
Three steps and you are writing code: download → double-click → write.
Steps

Download
Press the button above. The file goes into your “Downloads” folder.

Double-click
Double-click the file and keep pressing “Next”. Decree Studio will appear in your Start menu.

Write
Double-click Decree Studio to open it. Type this line on the left side and press ▶ Run at the top. If “Hello” appears on the right, it worked!

If you see “Windows protected your PC”
Nothing is broken. Decree is new, so Windows simply asks you to double-check an app it has not seen much. If you downloaded it from this site, two clicks open it.

Open Decree Studio from Launchpad or the Applications folder. Type this line on the left side and press ▶ Run at the top. If “Hello” appears on the right, it worked!

If you see “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified”
Your Mac wants you to confirm an app it has not seen before. If you downloaded it from this site:
“Decree Studio” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
“Decree Studio” was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.

Right-click the file → “Properties” → check “Allow executing as program”, then double-click it.

Write
The Decree Studio window opens. Type this line on the left side and press ▶ Run at the top. If “Hello” appears on the right, it worked!

If double-clicking does nothing
If you are comfortable with the terminal, these two lines also work:
chmod +x ~/Downloads/Decree.AppImage

Is it free?
Yes. Decree is free (MIT License).
What is included?
The Decree language and its editor, Decree Studio. Nothing else to install.
Do I need the internet?
Only to download. After that, only when your program fetches web pages.
How do I uninstall?
On Windows: Settings → Apps. On Mac: move it from Applications to the Trash.
